I needed to have several trees pruned. I did some research and found excellent reviews on Takoma Tree Experts. I contacted them and they got back to me promptly. They came out to review the work and sent me an estimate. I did not even have to be home. I reviewed the document and approved it. They provided a window within which the work would be done. They were available for questions throughout the process. They alerted me ahead of the time when they would be coming out to do the work. A crew arrived within the timeframe and completed the work efficiently. They cleaned up after the job. I would definitely use them again.

Takoma Tree is good to deal with. Their arborist, Bill, is knowledgeable and they come on time and are efficient. Good job pruning and limbing trees. Probably not the cheapest around but I trust them.

Takoma Tree Experts was tasked to trim a neighbor's very tall Evergreen tree from the rear of my property. Because I have a rolling steel gate their team could not use a lift. Highly recommend. Bill and team were easy to communicate with, highly responsive, showed up on time, and did a great job taking my tree out quickly. They left the area clean and tidy, too. It was a difficult tree with a lot of utility wires running through the branches, but they worked around them without issue. This was also in a tight back alley in DC where access isn’t easy, but they made it work. Would definitely hire again.

We hired Takoma Tree Svc to cut up and remove a large tree that had fallen during a windstorm. Bill Marvil kept in touch with us while coordinating the day and time, parking arrangements, etc. His crew worked quickly and knew exactly what they were doing, very professional. Takoma Tree Experts did a great job removing a dangerous oak tree and pruning a very large poplar in my backyard in Chevy Chase, MD. The access to the yard was very limited and the work area small. They took great care using climbers and rope riggings to complete the job as true professionals. The crew was respectful and hard working, and the foreman was on point. The quote I received was competitive for a difficult job, and perhaps the real difference was that they came out quickly for the quote and got to work the next business day after I signed the contract. Even my neighbors had praises to sing. A great operation and I would not hesitate to call them again.
