Takoma Tree Experts brought down an immense double-trunk oak in my backyard and, on another tree, cut off a large dead limb that was hanging over the power and telephone lines to the house. They arrived slightly early, worked through the day at a good but safe pace, cleaned up, and left the work site cleaner than it was before they arrived. Absolutely perfect!

Takoma Tree Experts did a great job with the tree removal in my backyard. Due to many rains and high winds over time, the tree finally crashed over the fence. Takoma Tree Experts came in, cut up and removed the limbs and trunk, ground down the stump, and cleaned up after themselves. Overall, a very good job from a very good company. I'd use them again.

A tree fell on the house causing damage and resting in a place that precluded taking any steps to recover until removed - a true crisis. Called Takoma Tree at 8:35 am the following day and by 9:30 they were on site proving an estimate and by 11am had a crew here taking the tree apart. By 6pm the work was done and the next day we were able to make significant strides towards addressing the most urgent issues. Cannot say enough good things both about Bill and his son George (who supervised the work). They were prompt, professional and most importantly super responsive in a time of real need. It was a perfect job! The team was clean and tidy between phases, and they worked very hard to protect the trees around the tree that was removed. I requested that the stump hole be filled with topsoil, and they did a very nice job leveling everything off. You really can’t tell that they were here at all! Again, everything so clean!

My review is a little late but I wanted to share my great experience with Takoma Tree Experts. A huge limb unexpectedly fell off our tree in late September. The tree trunk split and the limbs crushed our fence and fell onto part of our neighbor’s roof. I contacted Takoma Tree Experts the day after the incident and Bill responded promptly. He had a crew member come to our house the same day to provide an estimate. We scheduled our appointment on a Saturday. Alex and his crew men arrived promptly on Saturday morning and started the removal process right away. During the removal process, Alex discovered that removing one of the heavier branches would cause even more damage to our neighbor’s property and alerted us immediately. He needed our neighbor’s permission to remove the branches on her property. He waited patiently for several hours for her and her insurance company’s approval. Alex and his crew removed all the debris from both our properties. The removal and clean up was excellent! You couldn’t even tell there was any debris once they left. They surpassed our expectations. I highly recommend this company!

I needed to have several trees pruned. I did some research and found excellent reviews on Takoma Tree Experts. I contacted them and they got back to me promptly. They came out to review the work and sent me an estimate. I did not even have to be home. I reviewed the document and approved it. They provided a window within which the work would be done. They were available for questions throughout the process. They alerted me ahead of the time when they would be coming out to do the work.
