  • No modern decor or design and not much natural light (an office building hallway seen through windows in the main dining area) -- could use an interior design re-fresh -- but, the atmosphere is cozy with dark wood and carpeting and walls with hanging nostalgia, along with a large open bar a few steps up with several televisions showing live sports. The interior is suited to a good, old-fashioned Italian restaurant with a dance floor and great bands, like Quantum Leap, who I've seen there twice now...bands begin playing around 7:30 p.m. on Saturdays, at least. A comfortable place for a date, Meetup.com groups, or just to hang with friends for the truly amazing food and large portions. Been there three times in the past two months: for a Meetup.com social group, for my birthday, and a night out with friends...fun and flavorful, though, table service can be quite challenging when it's crowded...may have to chase down your server; restaurant needs more servers and/or better training (in my youth I was a tuxedo-wearing, live-lobsters on huge trays server in an upscale hotel restaurant in another state...very well trained; taught to hustle to keep patrons happy -- and coming back -- and tips high).
