Fantastic experience with Niebrugge Images to Alaska, visiting Wrangell area, including Anan! Website is informative, enticing, and getting in contact was easy. Quick email responses that were warm and welcoming. Trip was very well planned with the best local guides, excellent local hotel. Ron's expertise in Alaska was evident. He was available for questions at any time, and offered suggestions for settings as conditions changed. Niebrugge Images should be high on the list for photography tours.

We had an extraordinary adventure with Ron; it exceeded our expectations! The days were well organized and Ron made sure all of our needs were met. Loved the small group! Were amazed at everything we saw and really appreciated that we never felt rushed during our excursions. Anan bear observatory was amazing; watching the bears interact and catch salmon was awesome! Other high lites were seeing two sets of moose, two sets of mama bears and their cubs, catching a humpback whale breeching several times, glacier visits, beautiful blue ice bergs, glacier calving, beautiful ride up Stikine River, waterfalls; could not have been better! Highly recommend this trip!

A trip with Alaska Photo Tours has been on my bucket list for a very long time. I had been following Ron and his photography fifteen years ago, when I first moved to Alaska. Over the years I have gotten to know Ron and Janine and have always delighted in their stories about their adventures along the rugged Alaskan coastline and spending time with the bears! I finally splurged and booked the Wrangell/Anan tour and it exceeded my expectations in every way possible. Ron and Janine thoughtfully plan each day with the right balance of activities and chill time. As a person who is trying to edge into a photography hobby, I learned a lot from Ron and the rest of the tour group, as it is a mix of experts and novices. I took some really great pictures! This trip reminded me of what a privilege it is to live in this landscape and made me fall in love with Alaska all over again. The two full days at Anan were really special, but I was also thoroughly impressed by the majesty of LeConte glacier and the Stikine river. These places and experiences should not be missed. Alaska Photo Tours is perfect for couples or solo travelers and is a great way to become more interested in or perfect your photography skills while meeting a few new friends along the way. I'm already planning my next trip. Thanks Alaska Photo Tours for a memorable trip.

Ron Niebrugge’s “Bear, Whales and Glaciers” tour was outstanding! He is an Alaskan native and a great photographer. What I liked was how he adapted the tour based on weather and wildlife patterns to maximize the opportunity for us. On top of that, he has a great personality and sense of humor - great company!

My husband and I did the Inside Passage Tour on MV Discovery with Ron Niebrugge, and to say the least, it was magical! It’s in the top three of all of our travels. From Humpback whales breaching and bubble net feeding, to Orcas with babies, bears feeding on salmon, eagles, sea lions, sea otters, glaciers, waterfalls, and a rainforest, it was just spectacular. We hiked, kayaked, were taken ashore in skiffs, had wonderful meals, and wonderful photography advice. If you are a photographer or just a lover of wildlife and nature, it’s an amazing experience. We will probably do it again soon!
